Nick Conway, Senior Operations Manager at Kier Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks talks about their team experience at the Coventry-based charity, Feed The Hungry.

Feed The Hungry's UK projects - such as Coventry Foodbank - meet the needs of families in the Midlands facing food poverty, supporting over 1000 people every week. Globally, the charity also supply emergency disaster relief, and projects that provide food to over 560,000 children in 7 countries.

"We had a great day! The biggest thing for me was the size of the task Feed The Hungry have, the amount of people that rely on this charity was incredible, so many people in Coventry alone and that’s not to mention the overseas projects they do and the rest of the UK as well.

All of the people working for the charity were absolutely fantastic and the amount of volunteers they have was mind blowing, people coming in for the odd hour or two to people coming in all day or more.

It really is mind blowing.

When we left I really did feel like we had helped in a little way but I guess every little helps.

The charity was very thankful and I hope more people get involved in this from the wider business."
