Join our Team, a community of volunteers who are ready and able to support our varied range of fundraising activities across Coventry and Warwickshire.Detailed description
Bring your enthusiasm and teamworking skills to support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events. Together, we will improve life for carers.
What you will be doing:
- Marshalling, cheering, collecting money, or providing practical support in other ways at community events practical support in other ways at community events
- Supporting Carers Trust Heart of England by spreading the word through campaigning, in-office support, putting up posters, and using your social media accounts
- Joining a local fundraising group or starting your own
- Organising and attending events to raise money and awareness in your area
- Participating in collections
- Collecting and delivering collateral and merchandise to supporters
The skills you need:
- A friendly personality
- Great communications skills
- The ability to get on well with new people of all ages and backgrounds
- A passion for improving life for carers
- Good organisational skills and access to a computer
- The confidence to use your initiative
What you'll gain:

- Receive an induction, relevant training, the support you need to carry out your role, and agreed out-of-pocket expenses (reimbursed within our guidelines)
Please note that the lower age limit for volunteering with Carers Trust Heart of England is 18, due to our safeguarding policy and insurance. This post is subject to a successful informal interview and a DBS check.
