Summary

Driving our mobile wellbeing van to outreach events in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and assisting with van set up and packing away.

Detailed description

These events take place at various locations, including leisure centre car parks, exhibitions, local community events and care homes, where our Wellbeing Practitioners provide support, resources and advice.

Responsible to

Marketing Manager/Volunteer Coordinator

Commitment level

Required on an ad-hoc basis for up to six hours per session. Typically weekdays during office hours, occasional weekends.

Location of activity

Picking up the wellbeing van from a base in either Coventry or Worcestershire, and driving to events in Coventry, Warwickshire or Worcestershire.

Core tasks

  • Collect the wellbeing van from our Coventry or Worcestershire base and drive it to scheduled event locations across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire.
  • Set up the van for events, including opening the canopy and arranging tables and chairs.
  • Pack down and secure the van after the event.
  • Drive the van back to the base after the event.

What we’re looking for

  • A full, clean, UK driving licence including Category C1 (no HGV license required).
  • Minimum age of 24, with ten years of driving experience.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to agreed event times.
  • Comfortable with moderate physical tasks such as setting up the van for event use.

  • No DBS check is required for this role.
