Detailed description

Chat Central is a great place to try new things, make new friends and get involved in your community.

All activities are FREE and open to adults (18+) living in Coventry.


Join us for a one off group volunteering session at the Coventry Peace Orchard.

Help to revarnish the benches and peace sign at the Coventry Peace Orchard in time for their upcoming peace picnic to commemerate VE/VJ Day.

Experience what volunteering is like and find out how you can become a volunteer with the Coventry Peace Orchard.

Mission Complete!


If attending, please wear old clothing and sturdy footwear.

Getting there

The Coventry Peace Orchard is located in Coundon Hall Park off of the Tamworth Road (CV7 8NJ). There is a car park on Tamworth Road by the Changing Room Buildings as well as one on Waste Lane. A footpath from both takes you to the Orchard. Please contact us if you would prefer to travel with the Chat Central staff team.

We engage adults of all ages and physical abilities from all areas of Coventry. Whether new to the city, a student from overseas, a migrant, bereaved, retired, a new parent, just out of hospital, dealing with an illness or condition that limits their ability to get out, or just out of practice with socialising and getting more active and ‘out there.’
