Join our team of TWAM Van Drivers either as a driver or a driver's assistant (helping to load and unload) and become a vital part of our mission to send refurbished tools to African skills centres for livelihood creation. As a Van driver, you'll travel the length and breadth of your area collecting tools from our local Tool Collectors and delivering them to our Refurbishment Centres.
Our Van drivers are not only skilled drivers but also friendly and approachable team players who enjoy meeting new people and working together towards a common goal. You'll get to know our amazing volunteer tool collectors and help load and unload the tools, all while enjoying the sights and sounds of the open road.
TWAM operates a fleet of modern vans driven by our dedicated team of Van Drivers who share our passion for making a difference. Join us and be part of a friendly, supportive community that values teamwork, commitment, and dedication.

Through our 'local to global' model, we prevent nearly 400 tonnes of tools from crowding UK landfills annually and engage local communities, offering volunteering opportunities that nurture skills and foster social connections. The impact of our work resonates globally, as we supply refurbished tools to over 500 organisations in Sub-Saharan Africa. These tools equip individuals with the skills needed to completely transform their lives and communities.
By refurbishing and recycling, we save over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability. Our toolkits serve as catalysts for change, from supporting families and education to strengthening communities. Our local efforts have a global impact, helping to create a world where everyone has the chance to thrive.
