Summary
Fancy ushering for The Baddies? We require volunteers to provide top notch customer service and assistance to our patrons!Detailed description
The Baddies love being bad. They roar, spook and cast wicked spells to try and scare a girl out of her wits…who will succeed?
With songs by Joe Stilgoe (Zog and Zog and The Flying Doctors), The Baddies is a wickedly hilarious adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s smash-hit story.
The role will require checking tickets and guiding patrons to their seats, among other duties during the course of the performance.
If selected, please attend your shift in smart black clothing.
In return, for your service you will receive a free drink while on shift.
Overall, this will also be a great taster session if you're interested in volunteering with us long term!
Please let you know if you require any reasonable adjustments.

What we will provide to volunteers
🤝 Extra supportAbout The Albany Theatre
The Albany Theatre Trust is a registered charity. The theatre is in the heart of Coventry and stages in-house and professional touring dance, drama, community, music and comedy performances. Our mission is to engage, inspire and create. This is mainly executed by promoting social and community cohesion, as a meeting place for the sharing of creative experiences between Coventry’s diverse communities.
Our volunteers give their time and talents to help run shows at the theatre. We have so much to offer anyone who volunteers with us including a chance to make new friends, the opportunity to learn new skills, keep existing skillsets fresh, work towards paid employment and even free theatre tickets for the volunteering hours you work.
Full training is given, and we encourage all volunteers by providing a supportive environment to learn.
