Detailed description

Do you enjoy working with children and want to play a part in their learning and development? If so, the Playworker role could be perfect for you! We run an on-site crèche where we care for children while their parents volunteer, attend lessons, or go to appointments. As a Playworker, you will support our staff by helping children learn and grow through reading, writing, and playing.

This role involves actively engaging with young children, so strong communication skills are a must. You'll be reading to them, playing interactive games, and ensuring they stay engaged and safe.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Reading to children and engaging them in play activities.

- Ensuring the safety of all children in your care.

- Keeping a detailed attendance record for all children.

- Following safeguarding practices and maintaining a safe environment for all.

We’re looking for someone friendly and approachable who enjoys interacting with a variety of people. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we encourage you to apply! We provide comprehensive training, so don't worry if you don't meet every requirement, we're here to help you succeed.

Please note, this role requires a DBS check.
