Summary

Love gardening? Enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and make a difference. No experience is needed.

Detailed description

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Would you like to help maintain a beautiful garden and allotment? If you have a passion for gardening and keeping green spaces thriving, this could be your perfect role!

At St Francis Employability, we have a large green space that serves as a peaceful retreat where people can relax and enjoy the healing power of nature. This space needs regular care and attention throughout the year to keep it looking its best.

As a garden maintenance volunteer, you’ll work outside to help us keep this space beautiful and welcoming. Your tasks will include clearing litter, pulling weeds, sweeping garden paths, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and harvesting vegetables from our allotment.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. If you think this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we encourage you to apply! Don’t worry if you don’t meet every requirement— we provide all the training you need to get started.
