We are looking for a Community Fundraising Coordinator, who can join our charity and help us generate much needed income to allow our charity to continue our work supporting families effected by autism in our community. This will be done by planning and organising fundraising activities and events and much more.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and manage fundraising activities and events.
- Identify new opportunities to raise funds for the charity.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and coordination of fundraising efforts.
- Support volunteers, trustees and outside supporters in their activities to raise funds for the charity.
- Report to a Board of Trustees quarterly
- Liase with the Volunteer coordinator to find volunteers to support at events
Requirements:
- Strong research, organisation/planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in fundraising, is not essential but desired.
- Passion for supporting Autism awareness and acceptance.
- Ability to commit to a regular volunteer schedule
- Demonstrate creative and imaginative thinking.
- Ability to develop effective and supportive working relationships with others.
The charity relies on income from our fundraising activities. By helping us maximise our income you will have a direct impact on the services we can provide and the benefits we can deliver to our service users.

Expectations of Conduct
As a volunteer you will always be expected to adhere to the Charity’s Code of Conduct. You will be expected to behave with honesty and integrity and to demonstrate candour and openness.
Additional Notes
- Volunteering Hours: As required subject to your personal availability. There are no minimum or maximum hours you can offer this support.
- A large majority of the role is working from home, but may involve meetings with potential campaigners on our behalf and attendance at events organised by us/you or on our behalf.

Our focus is to provide support for local children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the form of non-judgmental group sessions, both in-house and in public settings. Our service also extends to families who are awaiting assessment for their children.
Group Leaders have experience with ASD which enables them to work with the children with a superb level of understanding and patience.
Our team are also on hand to offer support and advice to parents/carers with empathy and knowledge gained through experience.
We welcome all members of the family including young carers.
We also run regular coffee mornings within local schools.
