The Videographer & Video Content Creator will play a crucial role in visually capturing and telling the story of RE(YOU)S. Through high-quality video production, this role will help showcase events, initiatives, and impact stories, strengthening RE(YOU)S' presence across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
- Capture High-Quality Footage: Film events, interviews, and community activities that align with RE(YOU)S' mission.
- Edit & Produce Engaging Videos: Create polished video content optimized for social media, website, and promotional use.
- Ensure Consistency in Branding: Align all video content with RE(YOU)S' visual identity and messaging.
Content Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop Video Concepts: Work with the PR & Communications team to create compelling video narratives.
- Highlight Impact Stories: Showcase volunteer experiences, community testimonials, and success stories.
- Experiment with Formats: Create reels, short clips, event recaps, and interviews tailored for different platforms.
Equipment & Media Management
- Organize & Maintain Footage: Store and catalog video files for easy access and future use.
- Ensure High Production Quality: Use proper lighting, framing, and audio techniques to enhance visual storytelling.
- Manage Video Uploads: Ensure content is correctly formatted and optimized for digital platforms.
Collaboration with PR & Social Media Teams
- Support Digital Campaigns: Provide video content for social media and marketing initiatives.
- Work with Content Creators: Coordinate with photographers, graphic designers, and social media managers to maintain content alignment.
- Adapt to Trends: Stay updated on video trends and best practices to improve engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Production & Editing: Experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Strong Eye for Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling visual narratives.
- Technical Skills in Filming: Knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Creativity & Adaptability: Ability to experiment with different video styles and formats.
- Passion for Community & Social Impact: Interest in showcasing meaningful initiatives through media.
What Volunteers Need
- Access to video recording and editing equipment (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills to meet content deadlines.
- Willingness to attend events in person when needed.
