Role Overview
The Social Media & Engagement Volunteer will enhance RE(YOU)S' digital presence. By creating engaging content, fostering online community interactions, and increasing brand awareness, this role will help amplify RE(YOU)S' impact and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Create Engaging Content: Develop written, visual, and video content tailored for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Schedule & Post Content: Manage a content calendar and ensure consistent posting across all channels.
- Monitor Social Media Trends: Stay updated on trends and best practices to enhance engagement strategies.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Align content with RE(YOU)S' mission, messaging, and branding guidelines.
Community Engagement & Growth
- Respond to Comments & Messages: Engage with the community by responding to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner.
- Encourage Audience Interaction: Create polls, Q&A sessions, challenges, and other interactive content to foster a dynamic online community.
- Develop Influencer & Partner Engagement: Identify and interact with key community influencers and businesses to expand reach.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor Engagement Metrics: Track social media analytics to assess performance and optimise content strategies.
- Prepare Monthly Reports: Provide insights on content performance, engagement trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration with PR & Marketing Teams
- Support Campaigns & Promotions: Assist in the digital promotion of RE(YOU)S events, initiatives, and fundraising efforts.
- Coordinate with Content Creators: Work closely with photographers, videographers, and copywriters to ensure high-quality, engaging content.
- Share Community Stories: Highlight impact stories, testimonials, and volunteer experiences across platforms.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong Writing & Communication Skills: Ability to craft compelling and engaging social media posts.
- Creativity & Visual Design Sense: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
- Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with various platforms and their best practices.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple tasks and content schedules effectively.
- Passion for Community Engagement: Enthusiasm for promoting social impact and connecting with diverse audiences.

- Access to a computer/laptop, smartphone and reliable internet connection.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
