Contact local social groups to update our database, which helps 100s of Coventry older people each year to find a suitable local support / social group.

Good Neighbours Coventry's Activity Guides & our database are used by 100s of older people each year to find a suitable local group. We have 10 Activity Guides (CV1-CV6, men, women, dementia, bereavement groups) which are printed out for older people who can't use the internet, to choose & access groups near them.

Social groups are constantly opening, closing & changing, so these Activity Guides need to be kept up to date.

This role involves contacting local venues & groups to check that the group information we've got is still accurate. You will need to phone and email the venues; some of this will need to happen Monday-Friday 9-5 due to venue opening times. An email address, and a phone if necessary, will be provided.

You will then update our Airtable database with the latest group data - we'll show you how to use Airtable.

You need to have an eye for detail, be confident & polite to ask simple questions to strangers on the phone, and be able to input data onto an easy database. Excellent English language skills are needed for this role - native speaker or C1 level.
