This role involves sorting through donations we receive and making the ready to give out.Detailed description
At GrowKids we want to help people practically but we also want to value them. To do this we want to make sure that we only give out clean, quality items. We need organised people who will sort through the items donated, check the quality and put them away in an organised, neat manner. You will bring order to caos over and over again as our boxes get mixed up during our Friday sessions.
Your role is so important and we wouldn't be able to do what we do without you.
This role mainly happens on a Friday afternoon after the stay and play sessions between 12.30 and 2.00. People may drop off new donations during this time.
You will be invited to termly training sessions. You will become part of the GrowKids family. We are a friendly bunch from many different backgrounds with different struggles. We value each other and seek to support each other.

This is regardless of income, background or faith; no referral is needed (for most items), and all items are free!
We want to build community and relationships to support young families as well as providing them with clothes and equipment. We also want to empower those we help by asking them to be part of the solution, so we ask them to recycle their under 11's kit with us when it is no longer needed.
