Nave Support

Tasks:

·  To proactively approach and greet all visitors entering the Cathedral and offer a friendly and genuine first-class welcome. To provide information as requested by the visitor, details and basic history of the Cathedral and facilities and be aware of visitors and their needs at all times.

·     To always use the Donation Ask after opening up positive welcoming conversations with visitors.

·     To support staff and volunteers in the Blitz Museum, the Ruins and the Tower when needed. On occasions, you may be asked to provide support to other teams (for example vergers, fundraising).

·     To have awareness of events and services taking place and to promote as appropriate. To also be aware of other fundraising initiatives and to be able to introduce them when relevant.

·     To assist in keeping the working environment tidy, clean and free from litter

·     Attend any meetings or training to help with role.

 Nave Support volunteers may also be asked to support the Ruins, Blitz Museum and Tower as required;
