About the Role:
As a Male Arabic Translator, you will play a crucial role in helping clients overcome language barriers so we can better understand and meet their needs. Your support will enable us to provide essential services and ensure that every individual feels heard and supported. Whether it’s assisting during meetings, events, or one-on-one conversations, your contribution will make a world of difference.
What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate Communication: Provide Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic interpretation during client interactions to help identify their needs.
- Assist Clients: Help clients access the support and services they require by ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Bridge Barriers: Work with our team to build trust and understanding with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.
- Support Events and Projects: Assist at our Drop-In sessions, Let’s Play events, or home visits, offering real-time translation as needed.

We repurpose high-quality donations from our local community, ensuring that individuals have access to everything they need to build their new lives in Coventry and reduce waste in our city too.
We foster a welcoming community for newcomers to the city, ensuring that no one faces the challenges of adjusting to a new place, language, and culture alone. By volunteering with us, our clients gain valuable opportunities to improve their English, develop new skills, deepen their understanding of their adopted home, and increase their chances of employment.
We work with partner organisations and agencies across the city to ensure our isolated clients can access all of the services available to ensure a happy and healthy future, from helping an individual understand the NHS App and make vital medical appointments, to linking them with legal experts and employment services, to enrolling them on budgeting courses, our aim is to ensure that everyone is empowered to live a positive, independent life.
