Summary

Our Client Connection Team needs support in joining them on home visits, assisting with registrations at events, and making referrals. Tuesdays - Thursdays

Detailed description

Our Client Connection Team takes the time to understand each client’s unique challenges and needs. They register each of our clients and provide referrals to our internal projects as well as external organisations, making Carriers of Hope a primary access point for services throughout Coventry.

We ensure clients receive all the benefits they are entitled to, obtain necessary immigration advice, access healthcare, and can utilise technology. We assist with enrolling their children in school and helping parents join college classes. We offer specialised parenting support at our Let's Play event and have connections with various local resources, including libraries.

Our goal is to ensure each client has what they need now and the support required to build bright, independent futures.

Home Visits takes place on Tuesday mornings

Client connection - Tuesdays alternative at the Drop In, Wednesdays at Food Hub and Thursdays at Let's Play.

About Carriers of Hope

Our organisation supports Refugees, Asylum Seekers and other Migrants in Coventry.
We offer practical support to our clients by supplying vital necessities, ranging from food and nappies to pushchairs, toys, books, kitchenware and furniture. We repurpose high-quality donations from our local community, ensuring that individuals have access to everything they need to build their new lives in Coventry and reduce waste in our city too.
We foster a welcoming community for newcomers to the city, ensuring that no one faces the challenges of adjusting to a new place, language, and culture alone. By volunteering with us, our clients gain valuable opportunities to improve their English, develop new skills, deepen their understanding of their adopted home, and increase their chances of employment.
We work with partner organisations and agencies across the city to ensure our isolated clients can access all of the services available to ensure a happy and healthy future, from helping an individual understand the NHS App and make vital medical appointments, to linking them with legal experts and employment services, to enrolling them on budgeting courses, our aim is to ensure that everyone is empowered to live a positive, independent life.
Our work is made possible by the support and dedication of our diverse volunteer team, which includes local people, current and former clients, students, corporate teams, community groups, and professionals.
Whoever you are, we believe you can bring something truly special and important to Carriers of Hope. We offer both regular and one-off volunteering opportunities across all projects, providing full training, chances to improve your English or enhance your skills, and, most importantly, an opportunity to join a vibrant and welcoming community.
