Our free and confidential gambling service supports people aged 18 years and over affected by gambling , either their own gambling or the gambling of a family member or friend; Support can be delivered through 1:1 sessions and uses Evidence Based interventions and structured support Sessions usually take place on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for up to 26 weeks, dependent upon your individual needs; Support is tailored to individual needs, interests and goals, this can include;
The psychology of gambling; Tips and strategies to control, reduce and stop your gambling; Information on how to block gambling software; How to engage the support of family and friends as you stop gambling; Alternatives to gambling; Coping with cravings and urges to gamble; Signposting to debt management; Coping skills to help deal with a family member or friend’s gambling. We also offer group sessions, such as a women's group and a concerned others group.
